In the next year I think you might start see alot more 3D on websites due to this development for flash, it's a clever piece of software that enables you to render objects in "real 3D". At present it's in private alpha testing, and I know that alot of top interactive agencies have their hands on it testing and building stuff. however, the public beta version should arrive in the next couple of months, I'll keep you posted.
until then there are some demos here http://blog.papervision3d.org/tag/demos/

That's one shody 3d van.
its not great but its a step in the right direction, 3d in flash would be great if its as easy to use as flash is now.
I would love to see the results of 3D flash, I agree with James in that this van isn't exactly great, however on another note I would love to see what can be created with this new software development.
I think the significient thing here is that this is real-time 3D as opposed to some pre-rendered 3D. This means that you can create 3D environments with total navigational freedom, how it renders will in part depend on the designer and in part depend on your graphics card, so how it looks could vary from an older machine to a newer one.
P.S.
Forget about waiting to see what will be produced, once the beta version is released and why not create your own 3D flash work.
went on the site and looked at the shark one, pretty good really, and its like your on a 360 degree look of the see, i think designed right it will enhance peoples websites but if done badly it will make things harder to navigate, but i like where its going.
