As with the previous Ikea promotional site, this is a great little interactive feature and one that appeals to several sectors of the brand's target market. Once again, it's not just selling the piece of furniture, it's selling a lifestyle and an image - I think the way Ikea present their products whether its in ad campaigns, on the shop floor, in the catalogue or online, the desirable way of living they attach to the product is part of what has made the brand so successful.

From reading interviews and listening to creatives who have worked with IKEA you get the sense that they are a pretty open and adventurous brand to work with, of course as long as the work is "on brand". The general opinion is that IKEA build a good relationship with agencies, and this positive relationship seems to allow good work to be produced. Really what I'm trying to get at is the importance of having a good relationship with your client in order get what you both want... creative solutions that are interesting and actually work.

this is a great interactive piece that allows you to see the different styles they do showing they cater for all types. Nice that you dont just 360 degrees one room either, and as a constant change for about 8 slides it keeps the viewer interested.

The interactivity of the site is good, and I think it reflects their "form follows function" type concept. It's easy to navigate as well, which reflects the tonal values of being organised.
