I thought it would be appropriate to post something about this set of Pantone mugs. As the new academic year is almost upon us, I can't imagine a better receptacle for your late night coffees when you will be working hard this new semester on fantastically works of graphic design.
You can purchase your very own set at w2products.com

Already purchased a couple for gifts. Unfortunately I cannot afford the £70 price tag for the whole set! Dream on.
Love them! They would definately brighten up my boring student kitchen. They remind me of these Pig mugs I posted on my blog.
A very cool, but extremely geeky present.
Paddy check out Fleethorse on our blog, you will love it..
Paddy just a thought but whats going to hapen to the glog when you are glogged off the course. I think they should pay you to keep this going.
Other than Fabio I don't see many posts from any one else?
It would be a shame to stop the Glog just because term starts again, could be real nice for the first years to read and see what's going on in the design/advertising world.
Power to the Glog!
What does everyone else think (including tutors)?
Guys, the glog is an ongoing research tool that should be used on a daily basis from all the students regardless of their "status" (ie glogged off the course). Once the term starts, the glog should be kept uptodate expecially in view of the extensive research that all of you have to do, not only in preparation for your major project but also for your dissertation.
Furthermore, first year students have been instructed to create their own blogs and use it as a tool to develop their awareness towards everything that can stimulate their immagination.
So as you can see there is a "master plan" to bring all of the students in line with the blog.
yeah great idea. Real nice for us too, its been really interesting finding out about all the different inspirations of our group. There is so much stuff out there!
yes, keep it up guys! this will surely move you to the top of the Design University list ;-)
About the cups, I love them.. but I can't afford it either. (Hint to Santa Clause!)
Yep this blog has been a really good way to see what other young designers are thinking about, and what inspires them, its interesting how you can see a correlation between peoples work, what they are like and what they have written about on the blogs. The mugs are great but in a very geeky designerly way!
Nice idea, but £70 for mugs way out of my student budget!
I would buy one and then not be able to afford the others. So I'd look a bit sad with my single pantone mug. I'd have to explain to all my non design mates that I had a particular liking for Pantone 549C.
I think im going to buy one and drink from it wearing a helvetica t-shirt.
Anyone else seen those Hellvetica t-shirts? I'd like one of those, it's a nice geeky design joke.

quality!
would love a couple, if anyone is buying a set let me know i'll chip in...
The glog project has been ace. A good summer brief! As for the mugs and staying up all night doing work... I think that they should make an extra large version for those who need a lot of caffine in one go! e.g. me!
These are pretty cool but would only work for us geeky design students otherwise i dont think many people would be to impressed.
very cool mugs...
think i could afford one.. but which colour..?
now know what to buy all my designer friends for christmas....
Cool well its good to know the Glog lives on.
Still no reassurance the other tutors will start to post..
Ps
Those hellvetica T's are shocking, not even bad in a good way.
I have seen this on a T and its a bit of a better joke???

Glad you liked the blogging exercise. I wll still be employed by the University but for less time so my blogging might be less than it has been. I will try to keep glogging, we should all keep GLOGGING!
I have mine...lovely Pantone Red 168C
What about coasters? Lots of licensing opportunities here - someone's raking in the cash!!!
They look great together, or as a set of 3 or 4, but on their own they don't have the same effect at all. If i saw one of these mugs in a shop (I can imagine Urban Outfitters will like these!) I don't think I'd notice it.
I can imagine some trendy design agency buying the whole set for their designers to use alongside their macs and iphones!
Looked into these for one of my projects.....altho i think they should maybe change to diffent pantones depending on what your drink....heat sensitive?!
