Benjamin Cove is a London based visual artist with a background in architecture and art. He has regular exhibitions around London and I think he recently had one in Manchester, worth a look if you happen to be passing one. www.benjamincove.com
Some unusual and conceptually interesting, if not some what strange work on this site. However, I wish the artist had given alittle more depth into the projects. the inspiration and reasoning behind them as I'm sure there must be. In this instance, I think viewing in a gallery would do far more justice for the work.
the skull piece is brilliant, not immediately obvious. but it makes you double take. doesn't look as though the rest of his work is as accomplished, but nevertheless posted it on thestylepress.net for the wool skull alone.
I'm not normally a huge fan of conceptual art but I have to say this image of the skull made me look into the creator a bit more. I'm interested in taking everyday objects and turning them into creative pieces so this definately intrigued me. I agree that the rest of his work ins't AS powerful but interesting all the same.
The graphic team wants to broaden your cultural experience in relation to design. This initiative will allow you to explore and develop new inspiration to inform your future work. To get this initiative going the graphics team have set up this blog on which interesting/inspirational things will be posted for you to view and comment on.

I agree. The skull, although not obvious on first glance, is a very clever idea.
Taking normal objects and creating art out of them.
So simple, but really effective.
